Maintenance Specialist（ ）

What you will do

• Inspect, install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair electro-mechanical equipment and site facilities.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment to diagnose malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Use business management systems to manage work orders, service orders, records, logs, and inventory.
• Maintain knowledge of unit processes and equipment and recommend improvements to electro-mechanical systems.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements and support the Responsible Care Management System.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical school education and a completed certified apprenticeship.
• 5+ years of maintenance and repair experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures, machine tools, mechanical parts, bearings, gears, and related equipment.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings, perform shop mathematics, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Native-level Japanese proficiency required. Ability to work changing assignments, off-shift, and after hours as needed.
