Sr Maintenance Engineer - Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans with Operations and Reliability teams.
• Define maintenance strategies that support plant performance, asset reliability, operational continuity, and safe operations.
• Identify maintenance projects, major equipment repairs, replacements, and detailed scopes of work.
• Recommend and implement repairs for stationary and rotating equipment in collaboration with manufacturers, OEMs, and repair shops.
• Manage the design, procurement, installation, and modification of equipment, including maintenance expense and capital improvement projects.
• Supervise major repairs and support the Responsible Care Management System and applicable RC14001 requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in an appropriate manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices, confined space entry, lockout/tagout, hot work, and other permitting processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of welding processes.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment design and repair, equipment lubrication, and ASME codes.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing facility and support safe, environmentally focused operations.
