Maintenance Supervisor (Foundry)

Location: Columbia, Pennsylvania plant; onsite

What you will do

• Supervise maintenance employees across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, machining, vehicle, and facilities trades.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good working condition while maximizing equipment uptime.
• Provide hands-on training and establish a formal training program for skilled-trade employees.
• Reduce equipment downtime and repair costs by directing maintenance trades, supervisors, and engineering partners.
• Initiate projects that reduce downtime, scrap, and associated operating costs.
• Administer union-contract provisions with Human Resources under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical discipline is preferred.
• At least 2 years of successful maintenance leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong work ethic, assertive communication, and team-building skills with subordinates and peers.
• Professional PC literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to obtain a tow motor license and successfully complete LOTO and confined-space training.

Nice to have

• Foundry or machine-shop experience.
• Professional certifications.
• Experience working in an ISO environment.
