Senior HR Generalist (Maternity Cover)

Location: Muelle Uno, Málaga, Spain; hybrid work format. This is a maternity cover contract based in the Málaga hub.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process and coordinate data submissions, employee movements, and records with the external payroll partner.
• Draft and manage employment contracts, amendments, termination letters, and related documentation in line with Spanish labor regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
• Administer employee benefits, coordinate with benefit vendors, and support annual salary and bonus reviews.
• Lead the administrative aspects of onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, settlements, equipment retrieval, and employee inquiries about payslips, taxes, and leave.
• Manage diversity and inclusion documentation, statutory compliance, and workplace diversity reporting.
• Maintain HR databases and prepare turnover, absenteeism, and headcount reports while coordinating Jira workflow automation for HR processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in HR Generalist or HR Operations roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Spanish labor law and payroll procedures.
• Proven experience managing employee benefits.
• High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Fluent Spanish and professional-level English required.
