Property Manager (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: San Leandro, California, United States. This is a fully on-site role; remote and hybrid options are not available.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage commercial building operations, lease administration, tenant relationships, and service contracts.
• Lead property staff, including hiring, performance management, training, and development.
• Conduct recurring property inspections and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, codes, and client requirements.
• Develop operating and capital budgets, track variances, manage CAM reconciliations, and oversee recovery processes.
• Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts while coordinating with owners, accounting, leasing, and property management teams.
• Oversee tenant improvements and building construction work, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• State real estate license required.
• At least five years of property management experience, preferably in commercial property management.
• CPM and/or RPA designation, or active progress toward these designations.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, plus an understanding of financial reports and actual-versus-budget variance analysis.
• Strong communication, customer service, confidentiality, leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Angus, MRI, Yardi, CTI, or similar accounting software.
