Director of Residential Management (Commercial Real Estate)

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually

hirify.global is hiring for a commercial real estate organization managing a residential property portfolio.

What you will do

• Lead daily operations across residential properties, including property management, leasing, and maintenance.
• Develop policies, procedures, and scalable systems while monitoring occupancy, rent collection, turnover, and operational KPIs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, work orders, capital improvements, asset preservation, safety, building code, and environmental compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, expenditure approvals, and strategies to improve NOI and asset value.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate property management, leasing, and maintenance teams.
• Resolve escalated resident concerns, support community and regulatory relationships, and contribute to business development and client proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive residential property management experience, including multi-site leadership.
• Experience managing property managers and maintenance or facilities teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and capital project management.
• Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or AppFolio, plus maintenance management systems.
• Ability to pass the Kari Koskinen background check.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPM, ARM, CAM, or CAPS.
• Advanced degree in a related field.
