Temporary Community Manager (Property Management)

Location: Collegetown Terrace, Ithaca, New York, United States; work is performed at the assigned property and may require periodic travel.

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 USD annually, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead staffing, scheduling, team development, training, and employee engagement for the property.
• Manage community administration, policies, inspections, emergencies, vendor matters, contracts, and risk-related activities.
• Maintain safe, sanitary, compliant facilities and coordinate capital improvements, permits, bids, and project approvals.
• Plan and execute the annual apartment turnover process, including inspections, vendor walks, unit preparation, furniture and appliance moves, and cleaning coordination.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, payroll, invoices, inventory, collections, forecasting, revenue targets, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Improve resident experience, monitor customer feedback, support escalated concerns, and achieve property KPIs, market rates, concessions, and leasing velocity targets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing living communities and a team of 3+.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, conflict management, confidentiality, and a customer-centric mindset.
• Experience with vendor management and property management systems; Entrata is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Availability for daytime business hours plus non-traditional hours during peak periods, emergencies, and inclement weather.
