Project Manager (Capital Projects)

Location: US - Remote; proximity to Wilmington, Delaware or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is preferred for collaboration. Travel of approximately 40% is required.

Salary: $126,067–$196,980 annually, plus a 14% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex, and small capital projects across hirify.global sites from front-end loading through start-up.
• Plan and manage project scope, cost, schedule, resources, estimates, funding requests, and deliverables.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, project controls, document management, and contractor oversight.
• Build project teams, secure internal and engineering contractor resources, and establish clear responsibilities.
• Manage scope changes, risks, mitigation actions, problem-solving sessions, budgets, and project constraints.
• Ensure compliance with hirify.global project processes, design standards, and internal and external agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of capital project management experience, including 3 years in a chemical plant environment.
• At least 2 years of field construction or contract management experience.
• Experience working with engineering or design contractors and using project scheduling software.
• Knowledge of smart engineering/design tools and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, lead by influence, communicate effectively, and build strong teams.

Nice to have

• Direct-report supervisory experience.
• Plant operations or maintenance experience.
