Project Manager-Engineering (Hybrid) - Colorado Springs, CO

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Travel of approximately 10–30% across a broad geographic region is required.

Salary: USD $114,900–$166,600 per year, commensurate with experience and skill set.

What you will do

• Manage the development and execution of natural gas facility projects, including high-pressure transmission pipelines, compression, meter stations, and storage.
• Define project scopes, prepare cost estimates, and establish project controls.
• Lead multidisciplinary internal and external project teams, including engineering, planning, operations, and environmental specialists.
• Manage schedules, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, documentation, safety, reliability, environmental impact, and overall project quality.
• Prepare project proposals, status presentations, documentation, and communications for management, business sponsors, agencies, customers, and the public.
• Drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with corporate, federal, state, and other applicable requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering is preferred.
• 5–15 years of experience in natural gas pipeline or facilities projects.
• Understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream projects and the gas pipeline business.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurer; availability may be required during working and non-working hours.

Nice to have

• Experience engineering and designing compressor stations, pipelines, and meter stations for mainline gas transmission.
• Understanding of economic analysis for project justification.
• Experience in the mainline gas transmission industry.
