Project Manager-Engineering Refined Products (Hybrid)

Location: Houston, Texas; hybrid work arrangement. Requires approximately 30% travel with overnight stays, outdoor work at field facilities, and availability for extended hours or short-notice emergency travel.

What you will do

• Manage capital and major maintenance projects for refined product facilities, terminals, pipelines, pump stations, and loading or offloading infrastructure.
• Define project scopes, prepare cost estimates, and establish project controls, schedules, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
• Lead multidisciplinary internal and external project teams, including engineering, operations, environmental services, procurement, permitting, construction, and contractors.
• Prepare project documentation and presentations for management, governmental agencies, business sponsors, and the public.
• Manage project execution to meet schedule, budget, safety, reliability, quality, and environmental objectives.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and drive continuous improvement of project processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or another engineering discipline; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of direct experience in engineering or project management is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and eligibility to be insured by the company’s carrier.
• Ability to climb tank stairs, walk on uneven pipeline rights-of-way, work outdoors, and respond outside normal working hours when required.
