Senior Application Engineer, Business Unit Mounts (Automotive)

Location: Wuxi, China

A global industrial organization focused on vibration-isolation products and engineering solutions, with the role based at its Wuxi entity.

What you will do

• Acquire target projects in cooperation with Sales and deliver technical presentations to customers.
• Manage complex global projects according to APQP and VC ProMap procedures.
• Manage RFQs independently, coordinating all internal and external activities.
• Maintain relationships with customer Engineering teams and relevant technical functions.
• Own project quality, cost, timing, and profitability from RFQ through end of production, including change management.
• Lead project reviews, communicate status across the project team, and provide management summaries to top management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or another technical discipline.
• Professional experience in Project Management and Application Engineering, including successful project delivery.
• Analytical thinking, strong communication, presentation, assertiveness, and conflict-management skills.
• Fluent English and the local language are required.
• Team-player mindset, willingness to develop, and a good overview of the organization.

Nice to have

• AVS/NVH product knowledge.
• Experience communicating and presenting across cultures.
