What you will do
- Lead global application excellence across ’s product portfolio, with a strong focus on thermal applications.
- Develop application design guidelines, best practices, troubleshooting methods, evaluation standards, and a centralized application knowledge database.
- Resolve complex customer application issues with FAE and Quality teams through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Define application evaluation requirements for new product introductions and recommend product improvements to Product Management and R&D.
- Develop dispensing, automation, manufacturing, inspection, assembly, and process implementation guidelines with equipment suppliers.
- Analyze competitive products and emerging customer process, inspection, automation, and manufacturing requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in thermal interface materials, EMI materials, electronic materials, semiconductor materials, adhesives, or related advanced materials.
- Strong experience supporting customer manufacturing and assembly processes; thermal interface materials experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with dispensing systems, automation, manufacturing processes, or application engineering is highly desirable.
- People leadership experience and a proven record of cross-functional work with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, FAE, and customer-facing teams.
- Strong technical problem-solving, global collaboration, customer-centricity, innovation, and continuous-improvement skills.
