Customer Engineer IV-MDP (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Dalian, China; onsite customer and clean-room work required

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using digital analytics, diagnostic tools, documentation, and problem-solving techniques.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Follow and create documented procedures and published task plans.
• Communicate with customers and internal business units while leading projects and customer or product meetings as needed.
• Train and mentor junior Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7–10 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus advanced knowledge of wafer processing parameters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all onsite safety, environmental, and COVID-19 requirements.
