Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and qualify local suppliers for casting, machining, aluminum die casting, powder metal, stamping, and related manufacturing processes.
• Implement supplier development projects and manage schedules for timely delivery.
• Conduct onsite supplier PPAP activities and control PPAP quality.
• Improve supplier quality performance, resolve supplier-related issues, and implement preventive actions.
• Audit supplier quality systems and processes, then drive improvement actions.
• Support supplier capacity increases and cost-reduction projects, conduct feasibility reviews, and coach the wider team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of experience in supplier quality and supplier development.
• Knowledge of PPAP, MSA, PFMEA, SPC, APQP, ISO 9001, quality audits, GD&T, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Project management, schedule control, problem-solving, follow-up, independent work, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Willingness to travel and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and similar software.

Nice to have

• More than 12 years of experience in supplier quality and development.
• OFC manufacturing experience.
