Senior Application Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Drive growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and new product commercialization.
• Develop value propositions and coordinate or lead customer field trials.
• Evaluate local competition and marketing practices, and replicate or develop product and market applications.
• Apply knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations while engaging with relevant industry bodies.
• Deliver customer and market-focused training through electronic media.
• Lead or support major programs involving innovative applications, technology extensions, and field support for key customers.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer technical support or application engineering.
• Good command of English required.
• Knowledge and experience with tape and/or adhesive applications.
• Knowledge and experience with assembly processes in the automotive industry.
• Ability to translate customer demands into technical application requirements and present them to internal and external stakeholders.
