Finance Manager (SAP)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Minimal local travel is required, with occasional out-of-area or overnight travel for meetings.

What you will do

• Partner with regional management to advise on financial decisions and support the financial success of regional events.
• Develop and manage event budgets and forecast in-season financial performance.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other accurate, timely financial reports.
• Manage cross-border financial details, including international tax considerations and foreign exchange impacts.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities, implement savings measures, and monitor expenses against budgets.
• Interpret complex financial data, communicate conclusions to technical and non-technical audiences, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and large-dataset analysis.
• Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles, general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expense amortization, and month-end and year-end close processes.
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Experience with BlackLine.
• Experience developing financial models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and business decisions.
