Pattern Maker I (Active Knit Sportswear): Developing and refining apparel patterns from initial concept through production with an accent on patternmaking, grading, garment construction, and fit evaluation. Focus on translating design sketches into manufacturable three-dimensional garments, leading fittings, and refining patterns for active knit sportswear.
Location: Hybrid role based at 14460 Varsity Brands Way, Farmers Branch, Texas 75244; office attendance Monday through Thursday and work from home on Fridays. Candidates must be able to work from the designated location without company-sponsored relocation assistance.

What you will do
- Develop first through production apparel patterns from design requirements and established base patterns across multiple silhouette categories.
- Create production specifications and initial sewing instructions in PDM/PLM systems.
- Collaborate with Design and the Sample Room to establish construction standards and execute fit and sew-by samples.
- Lead fittings, evaluate garments on dress forms and live models, and identify required revisions.
- Review catalogue and production approval samples and issue sample reports through PDM/PLM.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Gerber AccuMark 12 and PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong patternmaking and grading skills, particularly with active knit sportswear; experience with woven fabrics is also useful.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fit, including the ability to translate sketches into three-dimensional designs.
- Two to five years of manual and Gerber-based computerized patternmaking experience, including experience with knit apparel.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, task orientation, and the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Ability to collaborate with Design, engineering, production, and internal and external manufacturing departments; Microsoft Office experience is required.
Nice to have
- AA degree in Patternmaking or comparable experience.
- Experience with computerized grading.
- Previous PDM/PLM experience.
