Technical Designer - Women's

Location: Beverly Hills, CA; onsite Monday–Friday during core business hours

What you will do

• Measure apparel samples from prototype through post-production and prepare them for fittings.
• Check garment construction and product quality across relevant categories and fabrics.
• Lead fit sessions on live models and dress forms, evaluate overall fit, and make accurate corrections.
• Document fit comments through written feedback, pattern diagrams, and direct pattern markings.
• Collaborate with design, development, production, and vendor teams to align on fit intent, wash quality, and fabric quality.
• Track product workflow, identify product or production issues, and provide recommendations to resolve them.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience as a Technical Designer in the apparel industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment measurement, construction, quality assurance, fit, pattern making, grading, technical drawing, and production-friendly construction methods.
• Experience with grading and grade rules for women's, plus, and men's apparel categories.
• Experience leading live fittings and communicating clear fit corrections to factories.
• Knowledge of the apparel design and development process from inception through production, including product specification sheets.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and issue resolution.
