Technical Designer - Women's Design

What you will do

• Partner with the Design Team from initial sketches through production to identify construction challenges and develop technical solutions.
• Lead live-model fit sessions, document feedback, and translate changes into technical instructions and pattern corrections.
• Create and maintain tech packs with construction sketches, graded measurement charts, and bills of materials.
• Review prototypes for fit, drape, proportion, contemporary aesthetic, and quality.
• Communicate technical requirements to overseas and domestic factories to reduce sample rounds and improve production accuracy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Design within the contemporary women's market.
• Strong understanding of contemporary fit trends, fabric behavior, and high-end finishing techniques.
• Expert knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading.
• Ability to translate creative design language into technical manufacturing requirements.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in 3D pattern-making software such as CLO 3D or Browzwear/VStitcher for 3D draping and virtual sampling.
