Pattern Maker Supervisor (Apparel)

What you will do

• Supervise, evaluate, train, and develop pattern makers and pattern trainees.
• Create prototype and sample-size patterns from garments, images, sketches, descriptions, and existing patterns using computer or drafting equipment.
• Develop and support fit blocks while considering buyer requirements and bulk-production efficiency.
• Coordinate prototype sewing, sample approvals, and communication with merchandising, sample coordination, cutting, quality control, sample-room, and contractor teams.
• Schedule and assign product lines, maintain efficient pattern filing, and adjust assignments as needed.
• Maintain technical standards, ensure consistent pattern quality, and pursue cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Average spoken and written English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
• High school graduation or higher.
