Technical Designer-Apparel

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, based in the Buckhead office

What you will do

• Create tech packs using approved blocks, grade rules, and technical standards.
• Support fit sessions, document fit comments and revisions, and verify specifications and construction details.
• Communicate development updates and track progress against calendar milestones.
• Identify and escalate risks related to fit, construction, and timelines.
• Create and maintain 3D assets using CLO or equivalent tools.
• Support block consistency, production handoff, process documentation, and efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industry experience in apparel technical design.
• Bachelor’s degree or at least four additional years of directly related apparel sourcing or product development experience.
• Intermediate understanding of apparel construction, grading, ASTM standards, and patternmaking.
• Working knowledge of CLO-3D, Browzwear or Optitex, Gerber AccuMark, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with competitor or internal product aesthetics and cost analysis.
• Experience identifying process improvements, documenting procedures, and driving automation or efficiency.
