Electrical Data Center - Senior Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California; onsite. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $135,000–$210,000 per year, paid weekly and based on experience.

What you will do

• Direct the overall execution, completion, financial performance, and profitability of electrical construction projects.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor project management teams while establishing project objectives, procedures, and performance standards.
• Manage schedules, project logs, resources, subcontractors, change orders, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate field activities with foremen and clients to keep construction on schedule and within budget.
• Represent projects in meetings with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support project estimating, monthly financial reviews, contract management, and business development.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of industry experience, including at least 10 years in project management; electrical construction experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, business, or a combination of relevant trade, education, and work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, methods, electrical codes, labor agreements, and state compliance regulations.
• Experience with estimating and proficiency in MS Office Suite and BlueBeam; understanding of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, organization, communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Accubid estimating experience.
• LEED AP, PE, or OSHA 30 certification.
