Electrical Project Manager

Location: Remote, O’ahu, Hawaii; candidate must be located in Hawaii. Travel as needed, up to 75%.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage electrical engineering projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Coordinate engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop and track project scopes, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, fee estimates, deliverables, and change orders.
• Provide technical oversight for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Review drawings, calculations, BIM models, specifications, and reports for quality, coordination, and constructability.
• Lead client and design coordination meetings, site visits, field assessments, construction administration, and risk mitigation activities.

Requirements

• Must be located in Hawaii and able to travel up to 75% as needed.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting or managing electrical engineering projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, applicable codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; ability to coordinate BIM models is beneficial.
• Strong project organization, communication, multidisciplinary coordination, and client-facing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare, institutional, science and technology, commercial, or industrial facilities.
• Experience at a design engineering or consulting firm.
• EIT, PMP, PE, or LEED certification.
