Senior Project Manager (Data Center)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; onsite at a large data center project near Alexandria. Ability to travel and work in various, sometimes extreme, climate conditions is required.

Estimated pay: $116,000–$192,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead assigned construction projects, managing safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, quality, and trade contractor and supplier coordination.
• Work with the Superintendent to prepare and maintain construction schedules, coordinate project requirements, and drive timely project completion.
• Manage shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, project logs, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate owners, architects, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers through progress, estimate review, startup, interim, and closeout meetings.
• Review constructability, cost feasibility, risk assessments, scopes of work, bids, and contract language during preconstruction.
• Control project costs, budgets, cash flow, pay applications, lien waivers, cost projections, profitability analysis, and quality compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field plus 6+ years of experience running construction projects with contract values above $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Progressively responsible leadership experience with demonstrated results in construction project management.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software.
• Experience with value engineering, life cycle costing, project profit and cost processes, and multiple contract types under CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current or obtainable OSHA 30 certification and compliance with company safety requirements.
• Strong financial, operational, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, integrity, and ethical standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction programs.
