Physical Therapist, Inpatient - Rehab Services - Per Diem (Acute Care)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Per diem schedule includes Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and a minimum of two weekend days per month.

What you will do

• Provide physical therapy services to inpatients from birth through geriatrics, with specified developmental exceptions.
• Evaluate patients, establish goals and prognoses, and create effective treatment plans.
• Implement and adapt patient-specific treatments and education programs involving families when appropriate.
• Delegate appropriate patients to physical therapy assistants and collaborate on care delivery.
• Provide clinical supervision to new staff and affiliated students.
• Process insurance and third-party payer information while maintaining safe clinical practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy school.
• At least one year of inpatient acute-care physical therapy experience is required.
• One to two years of physical therapy experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to work the stated per diem Wednesday and weekend schedule in Nashua.
