Civil Project Manager - Michels Road & Stone, Inc.

Family-owned Michels Road & Stone, Inc. constructs roads, airports, large site developments, and shoreline protection projects as part of the Michels family of infrastructure companies.

What you will do

• Manage large complex projects or multiple medium-sized civil construction projects.
• Oversee mass excavation, building excavation, underground utilities, paving, and hardscape scopes.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet schedules, objectives, and funding parameters.
• Drive profitable project operations while coordinating internal teams, field crews, subcontractors, and clients.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Work independently and collaboratively while anticipating customer needs and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of related construction management, engineering, or construction experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
• Experience with project management and estimating software such as HCSS.
• Experience with scheduling software such as P6.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel.
