Operations Representative (Insurance)

What you will do

• Assess and process incoming travel, life, long-term care, and temporary working incapacity insurance claims according to policy conditions.
• Coordinate claim handling between claimants, policyholders, medical advisors, HR departments, clients, and other parties.
• Manage working-incapacity overviews for insured organizations and maintain professional relationships with clients and third parties.
• Record claim data accurately and prepare reports for finance, client managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Answer questions about policy conditions by email and phone in multiple languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, insurance, communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English and French are required.
• Strong numerical, communication, analytical, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Adaptability, willingness to learn, responsibility, and a results-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-medical claims, such as life or travel insurance.
• Dutch, Italian, or German language skills.
