Financial Lines Senior Claims Adjuster (Insurance)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of high-value, complex Financial Lines claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment, quantum analysis, and resolution.
• Deliver timely, accurate, fair, and customer-focused claim outcomes while minimizing indemnity and legal or vendor expense exposure.
• Act as a technical Financial Lines claims expert and communicate with underwriting, distribution, actuarial, finance, executive management, brokers, and major account clients.
• Serve as deputy to the Team Manager, provide technical referrals, and support training for claims handlers.
• Support Quality Assurance and regional audit processes, follow up on recommendations, and contribute to continuous improvement in claims handling.

Requirements

• Strong specialist experience and knowledge of Financial Lines technical claims topics.
• Law degree preferred, with advanced knowledge of legal, regulatory, litigation, and procedural requirements for Financial Lines.
• Fluent English required.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and major account clients.
• Experience with negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution for high-value complex claims.
• Strong policy wording interpretation, attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and influencing skills.
