Digital Architect - Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics & Technology (MSAT)

Location: Paris or Lyon, France; hybrid with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.

Salary: €64,000–€85,333 gross annual.

What you will do

• Define and maintain architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, principles, and target-state solutions for MSAT.
• Assess digital, data, analytics, and AI capabilities and lead technology evaluations and architectural decisions.
• Guide scalable analytics and AI solutions for process optimization, technology transfer, manufacturing performance, and data-driven decision-making.
• Translate scientific and operational requirements into technology strategies supporting process validation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement.
• Embed security, compliance, governance, and audit readiness into architecture decisions.
• Advise and align MSAT, Quality, Data, Digital, IT, scientific, business, and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in MSAT, manufacturing analytics, data science and advanced analytics, digital manufacturing, manufacturing IT/OT, or solution or enterprise architecture.
• Strong understanding of MSAT concepts and processes, data science, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics and data platforms, including exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of GxP, GMP, GAMP5, CSV, and data integrity requirements.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, communication, influencing, strategic thinking, and systems-level problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organizations and global manufacturing environments.
• TOGAF or a similar architecture certification.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with MES, historians, LIMS, ELN, or manufacturing data platforms.
