Manager - Solution Architect (AI)

Location: 38 Rue du Sentier, 75002 Paris, France, with regular travel to client sites in the Paris area.

What you will do

• Define and own end-to-end technical architectures for data and AI projects, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, ML/DL model serving, generative AI applications, and agent-based systems.
• Act as the primary technical contact for CIO, CISO, and engineering stakeholders, aligning solutions with business objectives, security policies, regulatory requirements, GDPR, and the EU AI Act.
• Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, technical governance, and technical guidance for engineering teams.
• Oversee projects from advisory and assessments through POC/MVP development and production deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, observability, and cost optimization.
• Support pre-sales through technical scoping, solution proposals, effort estimation, client presentations, and workshops.
• Mentor junior consultants and engineers and contribute to internal IP, accelerators, reference architectures, and current technology practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or a senior engineering role with significant design responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in at least two of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic, and NVIDIA.
• Strong command of cloud architecture patterns covering networking, security, compute, storage, and managed AI/ML services.
• Solid understanding of classical machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, autonomous agents, and data engineering.
• Proven ability to engage with CIO, CISO, and VP Engineering stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with strong problem-solving and architectural trade-off skills.
• Fluent French and professional English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on coding ability with Python, Terraform/IaC, or similar tools for prototyping and technical validation.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tooling and production deployment pipelines.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Databricks Professional Data Engineer.
• Experience in management consulting or client-facing delivery environments.
• Familiarity with AI compliance frameworks and responsible AI practices.
