Clinical Resource Nurse, RN

Location: Tufts Medical Center; onsite clinical role

Pay range: $47.30–$78.04 per hour

What you will do

• Respond to Code Blue, Rapid Response, Stroke Code, and other hospital-wide medical emergencies.
• Assess and manage acutely ill and critically ill patients across adult nursing departments, including supporting escalation and transfers to higher levels of care.
• Conduct clinical rounds and provide real-time clinical guidance to floor and ICU nurses.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, nursing leadership, and other interdisciplinary partners.
• Maintain and communicate nursing policies, support quality and safety initiatives, and lead debriefings after emergencies and adverse events.
• Coach, mentor, orient, and educate nurses and other clinical staff through simulation, case studies, in-services, and bedside demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• At least three years of critical care nursing experience.
• Ability to work across varied patient-care settings and handle stressful, unpredictable emergency situations.
• Additional state licensure or certifications, such as PALS, may be required depending on the department and care provided.

• Master’s degree in a health-related field.
• Specialty nursing certifications.
