Resource Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Neuro/Orthopedics - Full Time - Nights

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; onsite night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., every other weekend

What you will do

• Coordinate unit operations and patient care activities for assigned overnight shifts.
• Develop staffing assignments based on competencies, patient acuity, and census.
• Lead staffing huddles, conduct rounds, and escalate clinical, operational, and risk concerns.
• Mentor nurses and new employees while supporting staff competency development.
• Deliver direct, patient-centered care to orthopedic, neurosurgical, medical, and surgical patients.
• Support evidence-based practice, patient safety, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license required.
• At least two years of progressive clinical experience in an acute-care or specialty setting required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership, mentoring, collaboration, prioritization, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to support patient safety, quality outcomes, evidence-based practice, and clinical judgment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Specialty certification within four years of hire.
