Location: Onsite/in-office and field-based in Wilmington, Delaware, supporting projects across Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania. Occasional local and out-of-state overnight travel, evening and weekend work, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation may be required.
Salary: $53,000–$63,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do
- Conduct field investigations and collect soil, groundwater, soil vapor, surface water, and other environmental media samples.
- Maintain monitoring equipment and accurately record and interpret geological field data.
- Support research, data collection, environmental guidance documents, permit applications, and compliance plans.
- Coordinate with colleagues, clients, the public, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Supervise subcontractors in the field and participate in emergency response and on-call projects.
- Follow company safety rules, OSHA regulations, confidentiality requirements, and continuous improvement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 0–3 years of environmental consulting and management experience.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- Ability to perform physically demanding field duties, including lifting and carrying equipment, walking across varied terrain, and working in adverse weather.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, time-management, research, and geological data interpretation skills.
- Competence with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Foxit or Adobe, Google Earth, and the ability to learn proprietary analytical systems; basic knowledge of environmental regulations is required.
Nice to have
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
- Prior environmental consulting experience with industrial, municipal, or federal clients.
- Knowledge of common field equipment such as water-quality meters, sampling equipment, air-monitoring equipment, and GPS equipment.
