DC Maintenance Tech II

Location: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center; weekend shift, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

Salary: $26.30–$29.62 per hour

Maintenance operations supporting a medium-to-large distribution center.

What you will do

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance, including wall and floor repairs, lighting replacement, racking repairs, and office furniture moves.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.
• Diagnose controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies, and field devices connected to conveyor systems.
• Use system software to troubleshoot, trend, and monitor conveyor equipment.
• Document work orders, labor, parts, inventory, maintenance results, and equipment status.
• Develop reliability and productivity improvements, perform minor electrical work, and complete analytical tests on conveyor systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 4–6 years of industrial maintenance experience in a distribution center or manufacturing operation.
• Experience with conveyors, controls, operating systems, pneumatics, AC/DC motors, and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including work with high and low voltage, AC, and DC systems.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform climbing, bending, kneeling, and other physical maintenance duties.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSHA compliance.
• Conversational Spanish skills.
• Experience with automatic identification systems, including laser scanning devices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
