Associate Web Development Software Engineer (SDK) (React/TypeScript)

Location: New York City metropolitan area; hybrid work from the NYC office three days per week; US work authorization required

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and level

hirify.global is a marketing technology company providing an automated digital advertising platform for franchises and small businesses across search, social, display, video, and organic social channels.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship developer-facing SDKs used by other engineers.
• Own the SDK product, including its public API, TypeScript types, semantic versioning, packaging, distribution, backwards compatibility, and documentation.
• Build and maintain AI-powered automation workflows connecting the product with internal and external systems.
• Develop and test features using AI-assisted tooling and autonomous agents, integrate APIs and data models, and manage the pull-request lifecycle.
• Collaborate with web, mobile, backend, Product, and Design teams on shared architecture and shipped solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and shipping developer-facing SDKs, libraries, or public APIs.
• Strong judgment in separating framework-agnostic core logic from framework-specific bindings.
• Experience with library bundling, ESM/CJS output, tree-shaking, bundle-size optimization, and npm publishing.
• 2–3 years of professional React and TypeScript experience, including reusable components and strong public-contract typing.
• Experience with AI automation workflows, LLM API integrations, agentic tooling, APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Based in the NYC metro area, able to work hybrid from the NYC office, and authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience building embeddable third-party components, including style isolation, theming, customization, and secure authentication or token handling.
• Monorepo and release tooling such as Changesets, Turborepo, or Nx, plus automated CI release pipelines.
• Backend or full-stack experience with Java.
• Technical writing and developer documentation experience.
