Staff Software Engineer - Frontend (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Base pay: $202,500–$274,000 per year, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Create front-end solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Translate customer insights into mockups, wireframes, and proof-of-concept code.
• Lead a small team in solving complex programming and design issues.
• Contribute to design, architecture, and development of web, mobile, and front-end software.
• Provide technical direction, prioritize technical issues and features, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Integrate AI into applications, launch integrations in production, measure their impact, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, web services, REST, or SOAP.
• Experience with software design, architecture, and the full software development life cycle.
• Expertise in unit testing and test-driven development, with experience building scalable and highly available applications.
• Experience building functional AI models with prompting or AutoML and monitoring model performance in production.
