TL;DR
Frontend Developer (React): Building and delivering responsive dashboards and visualization interfaces for a federal supply chain resilience control-tower environment with an accent on React, large data sets, and user experience. Focus on integrating APIs, optimizing performance and scalability, writing unit tests, and driving frontend projects from concept through deployment.
Location: Hybrid in Huntsville, Alabama; McLean, Virginia; or Richmond, Virginia. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Salary: $115,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications, dashboards, and visualization interfaces using React.
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to implement user-focused solutions.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL with backend systems and ensure reliable asynchronous data flow.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability with large data sets.
- Test and debug frontend code, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and improve development workflows.
- Drive projects from initial concept through deployment while meeting delivery milestones.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of experience in frontend, full-stack, data application development, dashboard design, or data visualization platforms.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, with hands-on React experience.
- Experience with Redux or MobX, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Git, and modern frontend build tools.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous request handling, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- UX/UI principles and translating complex data into intuitive interfaces.
- Frontend performance optimization experience.
- Experience with AI tools, agentic development, TypeScript, SCSS, Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing frameworks.
