Frontend Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, Maryland, US; 1–2 days per week in the office required. U.S. citizenship required.

Salary: $90,000–$128,000 per year

What you will do

• Create, enhance, and maintain web applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse.
• Write and review JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
• Define and work with REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and perform quality assurance testing.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• At least 2 years of frontend software development or engineering experience with a related bachelor's degree, or 6 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and at least one web application framework, such as Vue, React, Angular, or Backbone.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system and comfort working on a Unix-like command line.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification, such as Security+, within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and attend the Columbia, Maryland office an average of 1–2 days per week.

• Previous experience with BDP.
