Experienced CNC Machinist (5-Axis)

Location: Peabody, Massachusetts, US; onsite

Salary: $40–$50 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain CNC equipment and support plant preventive maintenance systems.
• Diagnose, repair, replace, and prevent equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Install and repair hydraulic, coolant, and air systems connected to CNC machines.
• Repair or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other machine-related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical component failures and support continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors while working with the Facilities Department and Operations Manager.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with Heidenhain and Haas controllers, plus familiarity with Siemens controls.
• Familiarity with DMG, Haas, and pallet systems.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of job-related safety practices and security protocols.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
