Construction Project Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Remote, based in the continental United States (lower 48 states); 40–50% travel in the US and Canada, with potentially minimal international travel. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. hirify.global does not hire candidates residing in AK, AR, DE, HI, ME, ND, NE, VT, WV, or WY.

Base salary: $83,300–$144,900 annually, plus potential for a once-a-year bonus.

What you will do

• Manage on-site commissioning and start-up activities for data center projects.
• Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of hirify.global-supplied generator products.
• Serve as the primary contact for contractors and distributors, escalating challenges when needed.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and third-party vendors to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Provide technical guidance on emergency generator products and support issue resolution.
• Prepare project status reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, industry apprenticeship, or five years of experience in project management or site commissioning; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Three, five, or seven years of project management or site commissioning experience for the Construction Project Manager, Staff, or Senior Staff level respectively.
• Field service experience testing and installing generators.
• Experience with electrical power, electrical work, generators, or reciprocating engines.
• Leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead professionals in a matrix organization.
