Director - Solution & Process Governance

Location: On-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States; an alternative office location is Orange, Connecticut.

Base salary: $170,000–$213,000 in Boston or $163,000–$204,000 in Orange, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead the design and adoption of future-state business processes and operating models across the enterprise.
• Partner with executive steering committees, business leaders, Customer Service, Operations, and Regulatory teams to align transformation priorities.
• Chair governance councils and Design Authority forums, resolving complex business and solution decisions.
• Establish enterprise process standards, guide fit-to-standard decisions, and reduce unnecessary customization.
• Drive organizational alignment, change adoption, and stakeholder communication across operating companies.
• Define measures for process adoption, governance effectiveness, risk management, business outcomes, and value realization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital, Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in process governance or digital transformation.
• Expertise in business process management, governance frameworks, enterprise architecture, process mapping, optimization, and standardization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing executive stakeholders, managing change, and making data-driven decisions.
• Understanding of utility-sector regulations, compliance requirements, customer operations, ROI evaluation, budget management, and vendor or technology partner oversight.
• Applicants must meet the applicable US immigration requirements to work legally in the United States.

Nice to have

• MBA or related advanced degree.
• At least three years of experience in a regulated utility.
• Experience in a global company or matrix reporting organization.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and smart grid solutions.
