Executive Director, Business Transformation (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Base pay: $191,500–$355,600 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, from opportunity identification and prioritization through delivery and value realization.
• Translate strategic priorities into transformation roadmaps with defined financial and operational outcomes.
• Identify, design, and scale AI-, data-, and technology-enabled solutions, including digital agents and agentic automation.
• Govern the transformation portfolio, develop business cases, and track ROI and benefits realization.
• Partner with senior business and technology leaders to align stakeholders and remove execution barriers.
• Build and develop a high-performing team of transformation and change management leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of professional experience, or an advanced degree and 13 years of professional experience.
• Experience at a top-tier consulting firm in strategy and/or large-scale technology-enabled transformation.
• At least 10 years of experience leading teams and people leaders.
• Senior leadership experience delivering complex transformations in large, matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, enterprise-scale initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Exceptional executive presence and the ability to influence at the C-suite level.

• Strong technology and AI foundation, including experience with digital agents and agentic automation.
• Healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industry experience.
