Director, Strategic Process Excellence

Salary: $160,500–$305,000 per year

What you will do

• Own specific high-complexity R&D processes throughout their lifecycle and partner with management to optimize them.
• Conduct process reviews and audits, facilitate stakeholder sessions, and support compliance activities.
• Define and manage metrics for process health, performance, and compliance.
• Identify risks, escalate issues to leadership, and prepare remediation plans.
• Lead large-scale and iterative improvements with cross-functional teams and update process documentation.
• Mentor junior Process Excellence Leads and help sustain improvements through ongoing performance tracking.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of industry experience; 8+ years with a master’s degree or 5+ years with a PhD.
• 8+ years of process management or process improvement experience preferred.
• Strong project management, adaptability, stakeholder management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience using metrics to support business decisions.
• Expertise in business procedures and GxP understanding.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process efficiencies.

• Lean or Six Sigma experience.
