Director, Deep Sector Power & Utilities (AI)

Location: Lakewood, Colorado, USA

Salary: $157,500–$225,000 annual for positions in Colorado, New York, and Connecticut.

What you will do

• Set the strategic direction for Power & Utilities energy content, including acquisition, collection, integration, distribution, and analytical insights.
• Lead the Power & Utilities organization across Power Development, Regulated Utilities, and Energy Transition.
• Oversee major product development projects, prioritize cross-functional resources, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Maintain and improve energy datasets, workflows, and legacy models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Manage relationships with third-party energy data providers and support client meetings, product demonstrations, sales presentations, and thought leadership.
• Apply AI and machine learning tools to expand data collection and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in the energy sector and/or financial services.
• Deep expertise in Power Development, Regulated Utilities, and Energy Transition, with familiarity across Oil & Gas markets.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams across multiple offices and geographies, including offshore or outsourced operations.
• Strong knowledge of energy markets, financial reporting, large-scale operations, and client-facing product communication.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, GIS tools, AI workflows, and AI/ML techniques in analytical or data-driven environments.
• U.S. candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
