What you will do

• Lead multiple medium- and high-complexity IT, business, energy, and regulatory projects under formal PMO governance.
• Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, resource assignments, budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Partner with business owners and technical leads to define delivery strategies and drive decisions, stakeholder awareness, and organizational readiness.
• Coordinate matrixed teams, vendors, external dependencies, procurement, delivery, and performance across competing priorities.
• Communicate recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, senior leadership, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure project documentation, compliance artifacts, reporting, timesheets, and controls meet organizational and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience managing projects, product delivery, or workstream delivery beyond degree requirements.
• Experience in a formal enterprise PMO with phase-gate governance, executive engagement, and medium- or high-complexity cross-functional projects.
• Experience working in matrixed organizations, negotiating shared resources, and operating in regulated, audit-conscious environments.
• Experience with waterfall and hybrid project methodologies.
• Proficiency with a project scheduling tool such as Microsoft Project and a ticketing or workflow system such as JIRA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in an ISO/RTO, with an ISO/RTO stakeholder, or in an electric utility environment.
• Proficiency in AI prompt design.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, IAM, data and AI modernization, ERP, treasury, or contract lifecycle management projects.
• Experience with wholesale market systems, grid interconnection and operations, forecasting, network modeling, energy management systems, or stakeholder platforms.
• PMP certification; Agile, Scrum, Organizational Change Management, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
