Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment

Salary: $143,487.14–$197,294.82 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies and practices.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse systems security team.
  • Lead complex security initiatives, assessments, authorization activities, and continuous monitoring.
  • Conduct advanced risk assessments and vulnerability analyses while responding to sophisticated security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into systems and report security metrics to executive management.
  • Evaluate and implement security technologies while maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems security, network engineering, information technology, or a related engineering field; relevant experience or a higher degree may substitute.
  • At least 9 years of experience in IT security or a related field.
  • Leadership experience including change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, accountability, and performance reviews.
  • Experience administering UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems, large-scale servers, thin-client architectures, virtualization, and related infrastructure.
  • Experience with A&A for USAF classified platform IT systems, NISPOM, DoD RMF, ICD 503, JSIG, and NIST RMF, including 24 months of ISSM experience.
  • Current/active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree in systems security, network engineering, information technology, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience with Splunk, ELK, ACAS/Nessus, HBSS, eMASS, or Xacta.
  • Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, public auditing, aerospace, defense, intelligence, NASA, space, or U.S. military environments.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
