Security Advisor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States, with remote and physical customer consultations and 25–50% travel required.

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Assess customer business, technical, infrastructure, operations, privacy, and physical security environments against applicable standards and compliance requirements.
• Conduct interviews, evidence reviews, observations, gap analyses, and remote or physical site assessments.
• Document findings and recommend remediation steps to achieve information security and compliance objectives.
• Review customer documents and reports, provide feedback, and support required industry-standard reporting.
• Consult with application and service providers and assist customers with remediation activities.
• Participate in sales calls, conferences, industry presentations, and webcasts as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of experience in information security or privacy.
• At least one recognized certification is required: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIA, or GSNA.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171, NIST CSF, ISO 27000, GLBA, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
• Knowledge of information systems, networks, security issues, compliance programs, risk assessments, and targeted risk analyses.
• Technical understanding of networking protocols, system architecture, cloud platforms, virtualization, cybersecurity principles, and foundational IT models.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
