Security Services Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chicago, IL, with remote/hybrid work options

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Shape, qualify, and lead complex cybersecurity pursuits from initial engagement through close.
• Lead consultative discovery and connect security investments with business outcomes, risk reduction, and ROI.
• Engage CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and business executives through trusted-advisor conversations and executive-level storytelling.
• Architect integrated solutions combining professional services, managed security services, and partner capabilities.
• Coordinate solution architects, engineers, subject matter experts, partners, and delivery teams across strategic pursuits.
• Develop deal strategy, pricing models, and recurring, consumption-based, or outcome-based commercial constructs.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, consulting, or technical sales, including success with complex security services engagements.
• Experience in an MSP, GSI, or enterprise security environment.
• Strong consultative, outcome-based, and value-based selling experience.
• Expertise in risk-based security programs, maturity modeling, NIST, CIS, and ISO frameworks.
• Knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, SOC, MTDR, vulnerability management, IAM, MFA, Zero Trust, cloud security, application security, data security, network security, and managed security operations.
• Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification.
• Cloud security certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Cisco, Palo Alto, or Microsoft Security certification.
