Compensation: $118,300 - $207,400 USD + Bonus

What you will do

• Lead the response to customer security inquiries, assessments, and live discussions to build confidence and enable growth.
• Scale and manage the customer trust center, providing self-service access to security, privacy, and compliance data.
• Act as a technical advisor to sales and GTM teams, bridging the gap between technical value and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, and risk teams to ensure security documentation (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is accurate and up to date.
• Analyze trends in customer inquiries to influence the product roadmap and improve proactive communication strategies.
• Review security clauses in contracts and provide expert advice on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in customer-facing roles acting as a trusted advisor.
• Deep knowledge of frameworks including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 27001, DORA, and GDPR.
• Proven ability to lead internal and external audits and certifications.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in the USA (Riverwoods, IL area for hybrid work).

Nice to have

• Experience in developing and implementing scalable Customer Trust Programs.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AIGP, or AAISM.
• Familiarity with cloud services and technologies, specifically AWS and Microsoft Azure.
