Sr. Lead Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City, with a hybrid work model. Similar hybrid positions are located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, and Chicago. Must be eligible to work in the United States at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay in New York and San Francisco: $180,000–$240,000 USD per year. Base pay in Phoenix and Chicago: $150,000–$200,000 USD per year. Discretionary incentive plan and benefits are also available.

What you will do

• Define and execute money movement use cases for Zelle across consumers, financial institutions, merchants, and other participants.
• Shape product direction through customer discovery, market research, competitive intelligence, and partnerships across the payments ecosystem.
• Define frictionless, trusted, operationally efficient money movement experiences across digital channels.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Risk, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Operations to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Own the product lifecycle from concept and business case through requirements, pilot execution, commercialization, and General Availability.
• Define success metrics and monitor adoption, payment lifecycle performance, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

Requirements

• 9+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, commerce, or related industries.
• Experience taking products from idea to launch and developing product strategy and roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of money movement across P2P, A2A, bill payment, and e-commerce.
• Strong customer discovery skills and experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments and work directly with technical teams on requirements and user stories.
• United States work eligibility is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with money movement platforms and products spanning multiple domains.
• Familiarity with digital wallets, embedded payments, alternative payment methods, real-time payments, or emerging commerce experiences.
• Experience launching pilot programs and scaling products to General Availability.
